The little pleasures of a Real Estate field trip #1

During one of our recent field trips; to understand and gauge the potential of a resort in a town in North Bengal, our jaws dropped each time we looked up at the sky! Living in big, 'bursting at the seams' and polluted cities, a lot of us have forgotten what the sky really looks like. Take a look at some of these images below. They shall remind you of that reality.

The Sky Above Lataguri Town - 10 AM
Same town, different road - 2 PM
On the bridge over the river Neora - 5 PM
This evening sky we saw from that bridge was a sight many of us at IREFD will not forget in a hurry. Every minute, for an hour from 5 PM to 6 PM, the light changed character; almost as if the entire sky was a giant LCD screen of the highest order.

5:30 PM Sky again - Next day, 2 km from that bridge
6 PM Sky. Same place, look at the transition!
9 PM Sky - Complete with a pine tree!
Amazing, isn't it? And sad because the Indian cities don't have skies this beautiful anymore. We hope that the damage is temporary and nature shall set things right someday. Till then, how about some more such field trips?

Note: All images have been shot with a primitive Blackberry 9360 mobile and published here after being re-sized to 800 x 600 pixels. No tweaks, nothing! We wanted to leave it just that way so your brain can scale them up virtually in every way possible and make you see, on your mind's screen, how beautiful it must be in reality.

Cheers!
