Privacy Glass. Awesome Technology. Varied Applications

We stumbled upon this great innovation called Privacy Glass. Produced by a company called SwitchLite, it uses some great liquid crystal technology (yup, the same in your LCD TV)
"The secret of the transformation between clear glass and translucent glass is found in the Liquid Crystal sheet. In their non-energized state, the Liquid Crystal molecules disperse light. When voltage is applied, however, these same molecules arrange themselves in a specific direction in a way that permits parallel light to pass through the glass."
The Privacy Glass works aesthetically and also has immense scope when it comes to energy efficiency for optimum cooling and heating, just at the flick of a switch! Blinds are passe.
