Why this blog?

There are numerous blogs on Indian real estate but we noticed that most of them revolved around real estate transactions. Websites and blogs; created to sell, buy and rent various kinds of properties are all over the web and growing in numbers each day. The more the merrier we say, though.

Amid all that html, we thought that the layman could do with a real estate blog that was fresh and funny, but could also talk about dark realities, and ask uncomfortable questions.

So we created IREFD ~ Short for Indian Real Estate for Dummies back in May, 2011. As you can see, we are still around and that's a miracle by any standard.

Nevertheless, to make IREFD an engaging place (we register between 15,000 to 22,000 pageviews every month) we try and mix a little bit of everything: like;
