We, in India are blessed to have a Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India. A single body that has many chapters and is a coming together of the most reputed real estate developers of India.
The voice of the India's real estate industry is what CREDAI calls itself.


"The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) is the apex body for private real estate developers in India. CREDAI represents over 5,000 developers through 20 member associations across the country. It’s numerous initiatives and activities help developers come together and work towards better practices, improved customer service and a stronger realty industry."
Well, what most of us do not know is that CREDAI also has a code of conduct for developers that promotes healthy development and safeguards a lot of customer interests. You can find the code of conduct here.

It answers a lot of questions you may have on your mind about best practices that a developer should follow. So do read up the CREDAI code of conduct before you go real estate shopping. The developer will know for sure what you are talking about!
