9 Time tested tips to buy a perfect ready-to-move-in home!

Question: Which is the best ready to move in project in Noida right now?

Answer:

Dear Rohit Saahab,
Here are a few time tested tips for you to narrow down to the Best Project to move in to, irrespective of the city. Hope these help you in Noida and our other readers elsewhere. :)

# 1. Location: The best project should be located ideally. Your office, your spouse's office, daily needs infrastructure, medical care, recreation and education options for the kids should all be at the shortest possible distances from this project.

#2. Drive by the project at night. What do you see? What do you feel? Is it a place that is buzzing with life and is ready to be lived in with the family? Or you see something close to a horror movie set? That should answer all your questions then and there.

#3. Check the water logging history. Done? Now recheck it. That is one slip up too expensive to make!

#4. Does it come from a reputed builder who has delivered projects where real people live? If the answer to that question is yes, you are headed the right way. If you get a No for an answer, drop it.

#5. Walk around the project, since it is ready. Imagine a huge fire engine approaching for some life saving action needed at your to be home. Will it reach the project? Then, will it reach all the corners? Will it have enough space to evacuate your family and friends from outside the building?

#6. Will it feel like home? Will it make you house proud? Will your friends and folks want to come there again and again? (Not applicable for moms in law)

#7. Does it look and feel sturdy enough to be called home for decades? Are the lines straight? Do the walls in the staircases and lobbies look healthy and well finished? You don't need any know how for this. Just take a close look and you will know!

#8. Now get your family over for an opinion. Do they see the same dream around this project like you do? Are they convinced? Above all, are they happy about every square foot of your home considering the price they are paying for it? (Your absence while you work extra hours to pay the Home Loan EMI is a huge sacrifice your loved ones make everyday!)

Does your wife's eyes twinkle like they did when you guys first fell in love? That is far more important than any real estate you will ever buy, Rohit Saahab.

If you get a YES for most of those 9 points, you have a good deal. If you get 'a okay' for all 9, you have the best ready to move in project, right in front of you!
