How a service road can benefit construction, real estate and your career!

Exhibit #43 - We service darn well! |
In this eye opening blog post about the rewards of building service roads (no, we are not talking about the extra parking space you and your relatives get or the convenience of stopping there to spike your diet Coke), you can see how concrete is being pumped from the service road on the left, effortlessly into a column being erected for an elevated metro rail line.
If you analyse the exhibit above, you will quickly be able to reach three conclusions.
#1. People who build service roads are a smart and visionary lot. They know a few things our average town planner does not. These relatively narrow roads help infrastructure and development projects by making construction easy!
#2. This ease saves time and money and the resulting development makes the area more inhabitable and prosperous. That means more people want to live, work and shop in such towns. That also translates into more returns for your real estate investment and a better lifestyle. FYI, this is New Town, Kolkata and such advance planning makes this satellite town, cool!
#3. We almost forgot, that a service road also keeps traffic flowing without a glitch despite such construction activities happening during peak office hours. This ensures that you make it to work and meetings (now starting at Rs. 69 only) on time, giving your career that gentle, healthy tail wind.
To Serve!
