Let us remind you that as a real estate developer, you need to build homes for real people. Real people would mean guys like us, with realistic salaries and home buying budgets between 30 to 50 lac rupees.
You can also see that our projected pay hikes in 2013 are actually pay declines!
We know that your project is not really 5 minutes from any darn metro station. The closest school you highlight in your adverts is unfit for my child to go to. The full facility club with the works will remain shut most of the time because my city has 8 hour power cuts every summer day! That place you have built in for us to play pool, cards and get drunk is also jacking up the super built up loading beyond my comfort zone.
We also reckon that in a few years, apart from my home loan EMI, the maintenance cost you will charge me annually will be enough to feed a small village in India.
Please build us a smartly designed community where you could cut out the jacuzzi, squash court and hanging garden and thus make homes more affordable. And yes, we don't mind living in a place like that even if it has just 20% gardens and is an hour's drive from the airport.
As always, you are taking booking money and signing agreements without any construction at your site. We fully understand, that only when we keep paying you, you will continue constructing (hopefully on time). Thus the country of origin and the percentage of your FDI funds is irrelevant to us.
Best regards,
The average Indian home buyer.
