Water: The infinitely available fuel on earth! 

Accept it, you were looking for an answer to that water run car thingy even before you started reading this article. But we will tell you how that is true, just like smelling a lemon on your computer is.

BS Engineering, a cutting edge technology firm from Samastipur has designed a very simple conversion kit for your petrol engined car. No, it does not work for diesel cars, sorry! Here is a step by step guide of how the water conversion works in your car to run the engine:

#1. You need to change your petrol tank. The special tank that accommodates only distilled water as the new fuel has a catalytic converter (components and materials are secretly guarded and there has been a patent applied for) that constantly splits up hydrogen and oxygen, the two elements that make water. Expense: Rs. 25,000.

#2. The new fuel relay lines and high pressure hydrogen fuel pump will take this hydrogen from the fuel tank to the engine. Since hydrogen is highly combustible, this plumbing part has to be high quality and leak proof. So this gets a bit expensive. Expense: Rs. 37,000.


#3. The hydrogen then goes into your engine's cylinder, where it is ignited by a kryptonite spark plug. There are a few modifications needed to the pistons and the head but at the end of the conversion, your car will continue to produce almost equal power at the same engine RPM! Engine Modification Kit Expense: Rs. 17,000.

#4. Mileage - 1 litre of water will drive your average hatchback 27 kilometres. (Remember that a lot of hydrogen is produced by breaking down a water molecule). Total cost of conversion is as mentioned above plus Rs. 5,000 in labour.

#5. You will also never need a PUC (Pollution Under Control) check or certificate in your life. Your only exhaust is pure water vapour! It is a zero emission vehicle.
